Quarterly business planning sessions

Momentum Business Planning

Press ‘pause’ on your day-to-day busy-ness to reflect, get unstuck, refocus and gain clarity, while planning for your next 90-days in business. Get momentum.

Gain clarity and confidence to propel your business into a fantastic next quarter

It’s easy to lose the forest for the trees when running your own business.

There’s always plenty of things to do and mini emergencies to attend to. It’s easy to become distracted, stuck, or unfocused. And it’s far too easy to prioritise client work over your own business development.

That’s why these sessions were created! I know exactly how important it is to periodically take time out from your day-to-day, to reflect, review and refocus on what’s important.

These roundtable sessions include advice and support from those who know what they’re talking about – your peers and other business professionals.

Gain clarity, insight and momentum in a supportive, confidential, non-competitive environment.

Momentum can be hard to build, but once you’ve got it, it makes everything so much easier. How good does that sound?

I came to the session because, despite having a broad range of skills and experience, I was doing the same kind of projects and didn’t know how to attract a different type of work. I knew Brook would listen carefully while treating me as an individual, rather than deliver a boring one-size-fits-all approach. Since the session, I know exactly what I need to do to attract the kind of clients I want to work with, starting with a new job title and a change to the way I talk to clients about my skill set. I’ve since landed two big government contracts which were the exact match for the new direction we’d discussed. I’m sure it’s because I was clear about my role and what I could offer. Sarah Morton

How these sessions work

Facilitated by business coach and digital marketing trainer Brook McCarthy, we review, reflect, address and discuss business issues, as well as gain clarity on your business direction.

Questions, reflection, brainstorming, led discussions and opportunities for collaboration and shared experiences means you can gain new insights, resolve issues quicker, test ideas, and troubleshoot potential issues or risks.

You aren’t obliged or pressured to share information that you’re uncomfortable sharing, and can take heart knowing that all discussions are strictly confidential. Spots are limited to a maximum of 10 people on a first-come, first-served basis.

After just three hours I came away clear on my goals for the year ahead – and not only just goals but also achievable strategies for how to meet them. Thanks Brook, I feel energised and strategised! Janet Lowndes

Psychologist, Body Mind Well

I found the process of reflecting on my ideas and marketing messages through the eyes and ears of other people to be invaluable. It was fantastic getting feedback on ideas, hearing from others, and taking the time to work on my business development. Karen Hollenbach

Non-Planners welcome!

If you’re a non-planning person in business, you are more than welcome. Old dogs can learn new tricks. You don’t need to be a super organised and optimised kind of Type A personality. You simply need to have the desire to be more proactive in your business development and planning, and an open mind to new plannerly ways (yes, that’s a made-up word).

* A plan for your next 90 days in business. * New connections with like-minded business owners. Many a collaboration, friendship and accountability buddy has been found in our Momentum sessions. * Renewed perspective and a greater sense of clarity, control, focus and confidence in your business.
