First, we make a mess

 

We start by putting all possibilities on the table, and looking at how different assets and revenue streams work together. We take a deep dive on where you’re at – including your strengths, preferences, goals, and opportunities. We explore the wild and wonderful possibilities, making a mess, and centring ‘what if?’ 

‘Reasonable’, ‘realistic’ and ‘achievable’ are banned – but everything else is open for exploration!

Second, we design for massive momentum

I’m sharing ‘The Momentum Effect’ – the method I use to create waves of momentum throughout my year. The Momentum Effect focuses on promotions and launches, with plenty of time for holidays and breaks. In fact, planning our breaks is our very first step.

Together, we uncover our key levers for growth, and discover the simplest and easiest systems for growth that work to our individual strengths, preferences and opportunities.

I share behind-the-scenes of what works, the most common mind traps and mistakes (and what to do instead), and the winning strategies that my most successful clients employ to dramatically increase their revenue while working fewer hours.

Third, we edit, and decide

 

We can do everything – but not all at once. So now we sculpt our beautiful mess into something practical and doable. We start sketching timelines, and chunking our big goals into projects, ordered by priority.

There’s often a chasm between setting goals and enacting these: and this is our focus for the third part of our immersion. Because, over the last 16 years that I’ve worked closely with countless business owners, nobody I’ve met has a perfect set of circumstances within which to grow their business. 

We’re working with our personal propensities, not trying to force ourselves into a square hole. I’ll be coaching you, firmly and lovingly, to help you get what you want (after all, this is what coaching is all about!). You’ll leave with an Action Plan of priorities, plus the resources, contacts and information to make it happen.

Hi! I’m Brook McCarthy. I’m a business coach, speaker, and trainer with with 19 years’ experience in digital communications and a background in Public Relations.

I’ve been a business owner for 16+ years now, making me happily unemployable, hopefully for the rest of my life. 

Over the last 12+ years that I’ve been coaching and training owners and leaders, I’ve supported innumerable owners to diversify their income streams and create assets to leverage.

I recommend you take public transport! That way, you can stay for drinks (and hopefully, dinner too!). 

The day is fully catered

Morning tea, afternoon tea, barista coffee and a sit-down lunch at Ovolo Hotel are included in your ticket.

After you register, you’ll be redirected to a form, where all your preferences will be requested (coffee, dietary requirements, and whether or not you can join us for dinner).

With just twelve awesome owners in the room, you will inevitably form a connection (or, possibly! a new business buddy) with someone in the room. Embrace this opportunity to brainstorm collaborations, joint ventures, and referrals. 

A tailored immersion based on your personal situation

After you register, you’ll be redirected to an intake form where I’ll ask you a bunch of questions. This enables me to tailor this immersion based on your personal needs. When and where is the event?

Friday, February 21, 10am-4:30pm and Saturday, February 22, 10am-4:30pm if you’re joining us for the VIP upgrade.

We’re at the funky Ovolo Hotel, 6 Cowper Wharf Roadway, Woolloomooloo Sydney. This is 10 minutes walk from Kings Cross train station. Or a 15 minute walk from Martin Place train station. Or you can catch the 311 bus from Wynyard.

Is food included?

Yes! Your immersion includes morning and afternoon tea, and a sit-down lunch at Ovolo Hotel. If you decide to join us afterwards for drinks and dinner, this will be at your own expense.

What kinds of business owners is this for?

We specialise in values-based service businesses. Our clients are consultants, coaches, teachers, health professionals, therapists, creatives. 

Most are online business owners, though some have staff and bricks-and-mortar businesses. All are keen on no-fluff, no-hype, highly practical and actionable education that doesn’t treat you like a fool.

I don't currently run promotions or launches. Is the Momentum Effect for me?

Any business can benefit from running promotions or launches. It’s not whether or not you’re currently doing it, the better question is whether or not you want big injections of cash following a period of intense promotion. If you’re keen and curious, then yes, this is for you.

I already have a few things mentioned on this page. Is this still relevant to me?

If you want more than you’ve currently got, then yes, this will be relevant and highly valuable. If you’ve already done some of the groundwork – great! Now let’s tweak, optimise, and relaunch.

I have big goals for 2025. Will this help?

You better believe it. But this is just one day. The coaching, brainstorming, feedback, and insights you’ll gain will be hugely valuable. But you absolutely need to follow this up with action (but you know this already, right?)

What's the difference between Feb 20 and Feb 21?

February 21 I’m going to teach you everything I know (seriously, no gatekeeping and no question out-of-bounds) about creating assets for leverage, and diversifying your income streams.

There is no new training given on February 22. Instead, February 22 we will break into small discussion groups to strategise, deepen our focus, and begin nutting things out into decisions and details. You’ll also have a one-to-one with me afterwards, so that we can go through your plan in detail, together.

What about accommodation?

If you’re from out-of-town, then why not make an event of it! Take a couple of night’s away from your business and life, and see what magic arises! Time outside of our day-to-day is absolutely crucial to break-throughs, epiphanies, and great ideas. 

Our venue, the Ovolo Hotel at Woolloomooloo, is close to the city, the NSW Art Gallery, Potts Point, Paddington and Darlinghurst. Plus, you’re right on the harbour.

What level of knowledge or experience is this for?

This is NOT for those with little experience. It’s for owners who are already earning good money in business, with client who love them, and are ready for MORE.

Expect to be be challenged in your thinking, beliefs, opinions and approach. This is not “follow the leader and colour between the lines”. You’ll treated as an independent, savvy and intelligent individual who takes responsibility for their actions and results. Bring your curly conundrums and next-level questions.
