I started my business in 2008, in the middle of the Global Financial Crisis. A year later, my partner was made redundant when his organisation went under. We’d just taken out a million dollar mortgage on a house in Sydney, and I had a two-week old baby. 

This was my first major knock in business.

Two babies under two was the next one. It was all chaos, all the time. Something had to give. 

So I reimagined, rebranded, repositioned, and changed everything, including my capacity, and my identity.

The rollercoaster of building your own business is NOT for the faint-hearted.  If burnout hasn’t happened to you yet, then you likely haven’t been in business long enough.

And after 12+ years of coaching and training thousands of owners and wannabe owners, I can tell within five minutes of meeting someone, whether or not they’re going to hit their goals, or drop out.

16 years in business, I’m happily unemployable, hopefully for the rest of my life. And not just that, I’ve thrived.

I’m having way more fun in business than I’ve ever had before, I’m earning (far) more, while working fewer hours, with a buffer and surplus, and I don’t ever need to motivate myself to work because I love what I do.
